AVA CONVENTION HIGHLIGHTS

Advantage Medical Devices had the pleasure of attending the AVA Conference held in Phoenix last September. Hundreds of Infusion Specialists visited the AMD exhibit for the debut of the VantageCath™ where the excitement was palpable (no pun intended). Visitors to our booth had an opportunity to touch and feel the product prototype and they also provided valuable feedback on utility features.

Based upon that feedback we have modified the VantageCath™ product for our upcoming initial release. The needleless valve will not be bonded onto the device. This will allow the valve to be changed by the provider as an appropriate intervention after drawing blood or at any other time deemed necessary by the provider. In addition, we will be offering the VantageCath™ with a selection of valves to choose from. Customers will buy the VantageCath™ with the valve they prefer and have available at their facility which promotes consistency and usability.

We also had an opportunity to look at securement technologies available at the conference and found several options for the VantageCath™. Thanks to the many great exhibitors at the AVA Conference, we will be able to offer the VantageCath™ with options for securement that meet your high standards as an Infusion Specialist.
